Alternative Techniques Photographic Transfer

Start with a photocopy of a sketch. I used two sketches because I was unsure of which would work best.
Roll out the adhesive film, peel it from the backing and place the photocopy face down on the film.
Place the photocopy/film in the press. This press is the VacuSeal at the Frame Shack.
Soak the paper/film in a pan filled with water and then rub the paper off with your fingers. This process is time consuming and somewhat tedious.
Blacken the back of the photocopy, and trace the drawing on to canvas paper. I'm going to use watercolor paint to add color to the project.
Canvas paper and watercolor paint.
Block in the color on the canvas paper.
Lay the photo transfer on top of the painting. The pencil drawing on the film adds details to the painting. Both paintings go back in the press to fuse the film to the canvas paper.
Two finished projects.
