New Website & Phone App

PARENTS: The Powerschool Portal App is the "lite" version of the website, however, by following these instructions, you can add the PowerSchool Parent Portal website to your phone's home screen and have access to everything the parent portal has to offer!


Our next restaurant night is at the Old Spaghetti Factory. It's on Thursday, January 24, 2019 from 5:30-9:00pm for dine-in only.

How to see if your bus is running late or if the number was changed?

Carmel Clay Transportation utilizes Twitter to notify parents of any late buses or last minute bus number changes. When you think your bus may be late, please check their twitter feed @myCCSbus. You can also see all the tweets on the transportation page of the website.

Continue saving your Box Tops for Education. The winter contest will end Friday, February 22, 2018.

Each Box Top turned in is equal to $.10 so we would like to encourage every family to participate.No need to wait until the deadline, you can send in your Box Tops at any time and as many times as you wish. The teacher that brings in the most Box Tops for Education will receive a $30 gift card to spend on the class. Your child’s teacher’s name needs to be with the Box Top submission to count towards the class totals. Please confirm the Box Top is not expired and the four letter product code is present. Kindergarten Registration for 2019-2020 is NOW OPEN

Carmel Clay Schools is now accepting Kindergarten registrations for the 2019-2020 school year. If you have a new student within your family, please register by Friday, March 8th, 2019.

  • Registrations are done ONLINE ONLY.
  • Student MUST BE 5 by August 1st, 2019
  • Documents required to upload:
  • 2 forms of Proof of Residency (see website for accepted proofs), Immunization & birth certificate / passport

Calling all students who have a competitive spirit and love math!! West Clay is kicking off the Math Pentathlon training program right after the winter break. We will meet weekly on Wednesday from 6:30 - 7:30 PM in the WCE cafeteria. There is a $20 fee to join and sign-up is first-come first-serve! Currently, we do not have any coaches for Division III (4th and 5th grade). If any students are interested, ask your parents to help coach! :) Limit is 15 kids from Division I and 15 kids from Division II, on a first-come first-serve basis. Our Lost and Found is once again overflowing. Please stop by and take a look at all the hats, gloves, shoes, lunchboxes and and jackets. Any items remaining on January 31st will be donated to a local charity.

Family Bingo is back! Please join us on Friday February 1st from 6:30-8:00pm.

Kroger Community Rewards

For every dollar you spend at Kroger, they donate money back to the community. If you already have a Kroger Plus card, you just need to link it to West Clay Elementary. Sign in to your account online, click "Community Rewards" from the "Savings & Rewards" menu. Then search for West Clay PTO. Even if you have registered before, you will need to update for 2019. Thanks for your support!

Mountain Martial Arts

Mountain Martial Arts is sponsoring a fundraiser. They will be donating a portion of the proceeds for each new student. They offer and introductory package (uniform & lessons) for $29.95. For more details, see their flyer. This offer is good through February 13, 2019.

Be sure to check your students folder for American Heart Association Red Out information. Save the date and wear your red on February 1st, 2019. Orders due by January 16th, 2019.

Does your student play chess? The 2019 Scholastic Chess of Indiana Team Championships will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at 8;30 am at Martinsville High School.
