It was 1:43 p.m., Jan. 7, 2017. I decided to walk from my apartment to Jewel-Osco. It is a one-mile journey and google says it should take me less than 20 minutes.
exactly outside my apartment
there are no tiles outside the apartment, just concrete UNTIL YOU ENTERED Elgin road.
CLAY RED TILES of basket weave pattern on Elgin Road.
diamond concrete pavers ON ELGIN ROAD.
Running bond pattern on Sherman Ave.
Brick tiles of Herrinbone patern on sherman AVE.
it became concrete again after crossing Grove street.
it became quite narrower after crossing lake street if you walk on the right.
it remains concrete after you enter CHICAGO AVE.

Keep walking and you will see Jewel-Osco standing on the concrete to your left.
