H20 cycle .. Tony Vereen

water is a colorless, transparent, odorless, tasteless liquid that forms the seas, lakes, rivers, and rain and is the basis of the fluids of living organisms

the impact of human intervention on the cycle

  • Humans use water on the daily
  • use to clean
  • use water for almost everything

organic and inorganic components for the cycle : none

NITROGEN CYCLE

Nitrogen is a colorless, odorless unreactive gas that forms about 78 percent of the earth's atmosphere

the impact of human intervention on the cycle

  • Nitrogen fixation- process where N2 is converted into ammonium
  • Nitrification- some of the ammonium produced by decomposition
  • Nitrogen Mineralization - into organic matter
  • Nitrogen uptake- taken up a host by a plant

organic and inorganic components for the cycle

Carbon cycle ..

carbon is a nonmetal that has two main forms (diamond and graphite) and that also occurs in impure form in charcoal, soot, and coal.

the human intervention

organic and inorganic components for the cycle

•Carbon found in something living is called organic carbon.

•Carbon found in something non-living is called inorganic carbon.

Phosphorus.

Phosphorus cycle is the biogeochemical cycle that describes the movement of phosphorus through the lithosphere, hydrosphere, and biosphere.-

The human intervention

  • Phosphorus circulate through water , the earth's crust and living organisms
  • It is in the food chain , helps in most aquatic ecosystems
  • sinks into the ocean floor as rock deposits

organic and inorganic components for the cycle

Plants take up inorganic phosphate from the soil. The plants are then eating ate by animals.

When the plant or animal dies, it decompose, and the organic phosphate is returned to the soil.
