Schwarz's Supper Club Men's weekend group april 2016

On April 16, 2016, four members of the Men's Weekend Group, and their beautiful spouses, attended the second annual Wisconsin Supper Club tour at Schwarz's Supper Club in St. Anna, Wisconsin.

Our headquarters was the Inn on Woodlake in Kohler, Wisconsin.

We gathered in the Atrium Bar to meet and catch up and to fortify ourselves for the drive to St. Anna. (The last picture is not one of our wives but rather the bartender.)

Peg volunteered to be our designated driver and we all piled into the Veazie 8-passenger-mobile. I don't know how Mr. Schomberg managed to get into, and out of, the third row seat. A half hour drive and after only one U-turn we arrived

at Schwarz's Supper Club to find it mobbed. There was at least one doubter as to the sanity of this endeavor.

Once inside, we gathered menus and gave our dinner orders to a passing waitstaff. One orders in the bar, waits and then when the food is ready, you are seated in the dining room. Very efficient. This is not the dining room. This is the waiting room.

We snagged a corner booth in the bar and began what we thought was going to be a LONG wait for our table. My guess was two and a half hours. But this gave us more time to catch up with each other.

Happily, after only about an hour we were seated and had a delicious meal. Their specialty is prime rib as this is a Wisconsin supper club after all.

It wasn't quite as glamorous as last year's limousine but it got the job done.

We end the wonderful evening chatting in the hotel foyer.

We look forward to the 2017 event, perhaps in Madison.
