Geography
Cuba is located at 21.5218° N, 77.7812° W. It is in the Caribbean sea and west to Mexico. Haiti is east and the Bahamas are north west to Cuba. Cuba has a small mountain range.
History
In 1959, Fidel Castro and his army took down Fulgencio Batista. This was known as the Cuban revolution. A few months later Fidel Castro became the leader of Cuba. We chose this logo because it is an important symbol that represents the Cuban Revolution. You can find this picture almost everywhere in Cuba!
Government & Economics
Government
Cuba is a Autocracy Unitary government. The current leader of Cuba is Raúl Castro, brother of former leader Fidel Castro. It is also a mixed economy but it is more close to command than it is to market.
Economics
My countries (Cuba) government would be in support of the World Cup because it would help them get up to date in all of their products because they haven't been able to trade with the United States of America for a long time, consider they have been on a long term Embargo that has just been lifted not too long ago. Also it will help them get more popular around the world. Hosting the 2022 World Cup in our country will positively impact our economy by attracting more tourism near their beaches and their hotels. It will also impact the amount of famous athletic
