St. Claudine Thevenet lived a relatively normal, Christian life in the Kingdom of France up until the age of 19. It was at this age in which she witnessed the public execution of two of her brothers. The brothers had forgiven their executioners, and their last words involved asking Claudine to forgive them as well. It was after this incident that she decided to devote her life to God, by educating young, deserted girls and giving them a chance of a Holy life. She died of natural causes.
