Daily Action during my family road trip to las vegas, I took photos of what i ate to record my first family road trip in a different way. this project was inspired by Nigel Poor's "Observing Self: Collecting life's remnants" exhibition.

The very first and the very last meal we had were In-N-Out burgers around the resting areas near freeway exits. I realized that my family loves Asian food so much that we go straight to Chinatown when we arrived Las Vegas, NV. It feels very different from the Chinatown in San Francisco, CA. We first went to a Korean restaurant. That was the first time my parents had Korean food. We then tried out different Chinese restaurants for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The last day before we head back to San Francisco, CA, we had an American style Chinese meal, Panda Express, in the food court of the resort we stayed. These photos remind me the "taste" of my first trip to Las Vegas, NV.
