Center Grove Promposals 2018

High schools across the nation are no stranger to “promposals” - asking someone to prom in an extravagant, humorous or cute way. Many students have done this, using pets, Disney and everything in between. Featured below are a few promposals done by CG students this year.

Getting creative for their promposals, juniors Gavin Matheson and Ben Nicoson asked their dates to prom with animals! Nicoson asked girlfriend Lexie Hoskins '19 by taping a sign to her dog. Matheson asked Emma Pawlik '19 with baby kittens his family had just adopted.

Some students "promposed" on vacation! Junior Luke Eckert asked Kelyn Kitchens '19 to the dance by writing "PROM?" in the sand while at the beach.

Nic Ballesteros '19 asked Jordan Shipp '19 in Walt Disney World, using lights, posters and a little help from his friends. Shipp was not expecting this. “Being at Disney made it so much better,” she said, “After I said yes, so many people were cheering that I didn’t even know. It made me really excited for prom.”

Students have even promposed to their significant others who attend a different school. Rachel Kraus '18 asked her boyfriend using candy and a sign about Fort Nite, a video game he loves. Olivia Hefley '18 asked hers using a Patagonia shirt along with a sign. Senior Jenna Glogoza asked her boyfriend with a "Wizard of Oz" sign and Vans. Isiah Wilkerson '19 used roses and candles to ask his date.
Senior Andrew Castellano asks Haley Burgh '18 to the dance with this music themed poster.
Shane Stits '18 and Morgan Ingle '18 used this wrestling inspired promposal to "pin" each other down for prom.

No matter the creativity behind the "promposal," each of these couples will spend this Saturday evening at the Crane Bay Event Center in downtown Indianapolis.
