The ROTC annual review is an event where all episd schools participating. It is a ceremony where cadets are awarded for being outstanding individuals that have in one way or another distinguished themselves throughout the school year.

Chief Garcia said, “ We expect a good number of participation, we also expect and hope a good number of parents that will attend the ceremony, because after all it is a family event in which not only we have cadets but we have a lot of distinguished dignitary and we hope to get as many parents possible to attend.”

Garcia also said that he helps his students prepare by having them practice their marching because it is an important part of the ceremony. “We prepare more than anything with marching, it is a big ceremony in which at the end of the ceremony we do what we call a pass and review.”

“My favorite thing about it is for every cadet that is in the program to get to experience a little bit of what the military drill, the military formality event is about,” Garcia said. It is important because it is an annual event, in which cadets that have shown an outstanding performance throughout the school year are recognized, said Garcia.
