We had an excellent experience with the Casey Samson team. Pam Mooney and Shayna Ignaszewski were amazing throughout the entire process and a pleasure to work with. They made selling our home stress free. They are knowledgeable, responsive and always put our needs first. We will definitely recommend this team to our friends and family in the future! About Mother/Daughter duo Pam Mooney and Shayna Ignaszewski.

Pam Mooney has lived in the Northern Virginia area for 30 years. Pam and her husband raised 3 children here and feel that this one of the best areas to raise a family, between schools, sports, arts, and outdoor activities. Pam has been working with as an agent with Samson Properties since 2002 and she loves her job. Helping people get through the real estate process, whether it is selling or buying is very rewarding. Most people go through the process only a few times in their lifetime and it can be very stressful. Pam feels that her communication skills and knowledge of the market help make it a smooth process. Pam can give sellers a perspective of what today’s buyers are looking for in a home. Her knowledge of your home and the area sets you up for a successful open house and transaction.

Pam Mooney has three dogs, two of which are rescues from Pet Rescue Alliance in Alexandria. From left to right: Sasha 3 years old, Sydney 13 years old, and Lily 11 years old

Shayna Ignaszewski has always had a “client first mentality” and a passion for helping people. After graduating from Virginia Tech’s College of Business, she worked for four years as a Consultant, assisting clients with training and support, for one of the top technology companies in Northern VA. A native of the Northern, VA area, Shayna lives in Aldie with her husband and puppy, Bruno. She grew up in the Chantilly area, but assists clients from Arlington to Leesburg to Gainesville, VA.

Her mother and fellow Casey Samson Team Member, Pam Mooney, introduced her to real estate at a young age. Shayna always had an interest in the industry and the ability to have a impact on such a big part of a person’s life. She then took a position as the marketing specialist and transaction coordinator for Donny Samson, one of Samson Properties top agents. She supported him in his continued success of being a Top Producer and assisted him with launching The Donny Samson Team. After a few years of learning and mastering the back end of the real estate processes, she had the tools she needed to be a successful agent. Eager for the next step in her career, Shayna became a licensed real estate agent. Shayna prides herself on being honest, hard working and dedicated to putting her clients needs first in any real estate transaction.

We have lived in Franklin Farm for 20+ years and recently made a decision to sell our home. We chose Bernie Kagan and the Samson Realty Team as they came highly recommended for their service and expertise in the Franklin Farm area. Through the entire process Bernie, Pam Mooney and Casey Samson provided excellent guidance and support. The contractor they recommended, Clean Side Inc. did a wonderful job updating portions of the home and preparing it for sale. When we ran into the occasional issue, as you always seem to do when selling or buying a home, the team was right there to help us on to the next step. We received several offers over our asking price and the home sold quickly. We would highly recommend Samson Realty and Clean Side Inc. to anyone thinking about selling their home and particularly to those in and around Franklin Farm.
