His full name is Andrew Warhola, and he was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

He was born on August 6, 1928, and he died on February 22, 1987.

He was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
Andy Warhol was the most successful and highly paid commercial illustrator in New York even before he began to make art destined for galleries.
His drawings of women’s shoes were decorative and whimsical examples of this where a high heel might be festooned with flowers and birds, lending it an ephemeral female connotation.
His most famous works depicted Campbell's soup cans
Andy Warhol was apart of the modern art and pop art movement.
My favorite piece of artwork is the Marilyn Diptych because it showed how hard he worked and how long it took him to create this picture. He had to draw 50 pictures on just one background put together.
