Here we are! New Year New Us. With the coming of the new year, there are a couple of events that should be on the forefronts of your minds.
We are back to small groups after our Thanksgiving/Christmas Break. For the month of January, we have been going over the topic of worship and what it looks like to worship. Then, in the month of February, we will be focusing on purity. Please join us every Thursday Night at 6:30 pm as we tackle these important topics!
This Spring Break (April 14-19) the High School Group and College Group will be heading to Mexico with the Mexico Caravan Ministries in Tijuana, Mexico. Every other year, the High School and college group will make this trip. If you are interested in going, make sure that you start the process of getting your passport if you do not already have one. There is also a couple of mandatory meetings, the first one will be on Sunday, January 27 directly following 2nd service. This will be a short meeting, so that you can also help out at the Awana Grand Prix which is also taking place on the 27th. The High School Winter Retreat will be happening from Feb 8-10. We will meet at 4:30 pm on Friday and will return at the end of 2nd service on Sunday. The total cost is $60. Make sure that you bring warm clothes, your Bible and anything that you may need for a weekend away. If you would like to sign up and pay, you can register right here.
Every year, the High School Group goes to camp with Hume Lake Christian Camps. Wildwood is a Discipleship camp for students who are currently 8th grade to current seniors. The total cost for Wildwood is $460, but in order to reserve your spot, there is a $25 deposit that is due by Feb 15. If you would like to reserve your spot, please sign up here.
