Thank you all for your kind donations today. We have raised well over £200 and will be donating the money to the Comic Relief charity.
Our parents' evenings will be held on 20th and 21st March this term. As in previous meetings, we are using our online booking system. Thank you to all of the families who have already booked (so far only half the children have an appointment). On Wednesday Owls' class had a visit from June Pearson MBE and two children from Ivy Lane Primary School to talk to them about 'Kids Tusk Force UK' As part of this the pupils were each given a small block of clay to create their own beads which they decorated with African inspired art. They did a really fantastic job. The class will be selling the beads after their assembly on Thursday 28th March. They will be using any money raised from the sale to go towards the adoption of an orphaned elephant. Please click here for more information on the project.
Badgers Bake Off
On Monday 18th March Badgers class are taking part in a 'Bake Off' for Stand up to Cancer.
Please come along to their classroom at 3pm, where they will be selling their cakes and biscuits.
Badgers' don't forget to bring in your baking creations on Monday morning ready for the judging! The winner will receive the special 'Bake Off ' apron
Cancellation of clubs - 20th & 21st March
Due to parents' evening on Wednesday 20th March, we will have to cancel Multi Skills club and Lego club and on and Thursday 21st March, we will have to cancel Football club, KS1 Art and 500 Words. We hope this does not cause too much inconvenience.

Thank you to all of the parents who attended the Dolce taster evening yesterday.
By now you should have received an activation email from 'Live Kitchen' giving details of how to set up your child's lunch account. If you have not received the email, please let the office know or check your junk/spam folder. Children will only be able to have school lunches booked through the 'Live Kitchen' website. We will no longer be able to take bookings in class, so please ensure you have set up your account before the start of next term.
Please can we remind parents with any outstanding dinner money payments on Parentpay, that all balances must be cleared by Thursday 4th April. If you are unsure if you have any debt, please see the school office.
Squirrels class look forward to welcoming family and friends to their class assembly on Thursday 21st March.
Owls class will be welcoming Family and Friends on Thursday 28th March.
The class assemblies start at 9.15 and are followed by tea and coffee. Owls class will be selling their 'Tusk Force' beads after their assembly.

Unfortunately due to the unpleasant weather over the last week, all of our sports tournaments have been postponed.
The level 2 Netball will now take place on Friday 22nd March at Hardenhuish School. The Chippenham Schools' Netball and Football tournaments have been re-arranged for Saturday 23rd March at Sheldon School and the Level 2 Rugby is now scheduled to take place after the Easter Holiday's on Tuesday 23rd April. Please can all school rugby kit be returned to Mrs Douglas on Monday.
Get Active Holiday Sport Programme

This year 50 sport camps will be delivered across Wiltshire to ensure young people can remain active during the holidays.
