What is Liturgy? Created by: jordan johnson

Liturgy is a form or formulary according to which public religious worship, especially Christian worship, is conducted.

Mass as sacrifice

The Eucharist is a true sacrifice, not just a commemorative meal, as "Bible Christians" insist. The first Christians knew that it was a sacrifice and proclaimed this in their writings. They recognized the sacrificial character of Jesus’ instruction, "Do this in remembrance of me".

Community and Liturgy

The liturgy therefore is the binding principle of society and those communities in which I participate. Family, friends, parish, Church, workplace, living quarters, country – will all benefit from my participation in the liturgy.

Liturgical Diversity in the Church

Although we all come different countries and places in the world, through Christ we are all intertwined and connected through the church.
