Each week, as a staff we meet and discuss what has worked well and what we can do to improve our remote learning offer. After all, we expect at least another 4 weeks of learning from home.
In Key Stage 2, I have been amazed by the independence and drive that I've seen in lessons from pupils.
Pupils appear to have the best understanding and the most independence when they have been able to attend the morning meeting and live lessons. We hope to build on these live elements over the next week and increase the amount of interaction that we offer to pupils which reduces the pressure on parents to do the explaining!
This helps us to know when pupils are struggling to complete tasks or if they are struggling to find motivation for a particular unit.
