Texas 2X2 Reading Challenge

Kinder, first, and second graders still have plenty of time to complete the Texas 2X2 reading Challenge. Students who complete the challenge will receive a small prize and appear on the Bennett Bears Kid Talk Show. Their picture will also be taken and displayed on the Texas 2X2 wall of fame.

Is the 2X2 book you want to read checked out? The Texas 2X2 books are also available at the McKinney Public Library. Explore the link below for more details on how your student can become involved in the reading program and to download the review form and the coloring sheet.

The Bennett MakerSpace operates on a flexible schedule. Up to 3 students from each class may come to the MakerSpace at a time, with teacher permission. The MakerSpace is open from 8:15 am - 3:00 pm. Teachers may also schedule whole class MakerSpace times or small group workshops with Mrs. Stallbaumer. Check out the many resources available to students on the Bennett Learning Commons Google Site.
