Age Concern Jersey

A reminder that the deadline for the Age Concern Jersey ‘Operation Hamper’ appeal is tomorrow, Wednesday 4th December. If you would like to help please send in either dried or tinned foods in particular tea, coffee, sugar, biscuits, sweets and cakes, soup, fruit, cold meats, etc. we have a collection box near the school office.

Breakfast Initiative

Breakfast has now been served for four weeks and has been an incredible success. I would like to thank Mrs Davis, Mrs Moore, Mrs Lewis, Mrs Connor, Mrs McPhee, Mrs Andrews, Jay, Mrs Wilson, Mrs King, Mrs Findlay, Mr L'enfant and Mrs Ward for their hard work (and early morning starts). We also appreciate those members of staff who pop in and cover when needed.

Following the Christmas break, breakfast will start again on Monday 6th January from 8am.

Farewell and Welcome

At the end of term we will say goodbye to Mrs Cattell who will be leaving us to join Springfield School. Mrs Cattell will be missed and we would like to thank her for all her hard work during the time she has been at Plat Douet.

From January 2020 Mr Rebours, currently a teacher at First Tower School, will be taking over Y3CP on a full-time basis.

We are also saying a temporary goodbye to Miss Minihane who is going travelling from January 2020 until March 2020. We are interviewing for this position on Friday and will update you in due course.
