Little Lily Pop Shop

Hello, my name is Emma and I set up @littlelilypopshop in February, inspired by my daughter Lily and from our love of handmade clothing and pretty dresses. I wanted something to showcase those beautiful clothes on and thought others would like something too. I paint and customise each hanger at home which has turned into a bit of a workroom/photography studio/storage of my growing flower/glitter/paint collection. I have a background in fashion design but had a career break after having Lily and wanted something to fit in with family life so along with a part time job this fits perfectly and is a creative outlet too. Milky Squid Stitching

Milky Squid Stitching is basically the contents of my brain transferred into a cross stitch that you can then buy. My stitches are funny (I hope), colourful, pretty, Netflix inspired and a little bit rude at times (again, sorry Mum). I produce framed finished pieces that are perfect for your home and office. But, I have branched out and also cross stitched on badges, tote bags, cushions, make up bags - if it's got holes in it I will try and stitch on it. Snoozzzy

Snoozzzy is a children’s well-being brand which specialises in weighted blankets. As a mum of two young children I understand the affect a lack of sleep can have on both a child and a parent and so decided to try and find a solution! Weighted blankets can help any child who struggles to sleep all night but also specifically children who suffer from stress, ADHD, autism, other sensory-related sleep issues and anxiety.

Having suffered with anxiety during my teen years I really liked the comfort the blankets give to someone in need, and so my third child was born- snoozzzy. Snoozzzy weighted blankets are filled with just enough non-toxic beads to provide deep pressure touch stimulation without uncomfortable restriction. The deep pressure from the weight causes the body to produce serotonin and endorphins, which are the chemicals our bodies naturally use to feel relaxed or calm. In combination with the darkness that occurs during the night-time hours, the pineal gland converts serotonin to melatonin, our natural sleep-inducing hormone.

The blankets come in three weights- 5lb, 7lb and 10lb allowing you scope to find the right blanket for your little one. For optimum results it is recommended that you choose a blanket which is 10% of the users body weight as this should give 100% energy the following morning. The set comes with the ultra-soft minky cover of your choice which features the fun print on one side and then the raised dotty reverse which is great for anyone with sensory needs. All of our minky covers are machine washable on a cold wash and also feature 8 internal ties which allow it to be secured in place to the weighted blanket all night. A discrete hidden zip allows for the cover to be removed from the blanket with ease without causing any discomfort during its use.
