His father died when he was eleven years old, and the boy spent the next few years living in different houses throughout Virginia. His fathers name was Augusta and his mothers name was Mary Ball Washington. He was the oldest of the 5 brother and 3 sisters.
Education: At 17 years old, George Washington became the county surveyor. The father of Washington received his education at Appleby School in England.
Career: George Washington was an American politician and soldier who served as the first President of the United States from 1789 to 1797 and was one of the Founding Fathers of the United States. George Washington was the commander and chief of the continental army.
