Town Beach Project

Without a doubt, the waterfront is a prized feature of our town. The improved Town Beach will not only showcase this local gem but enhance the enjoyment of the waterfront by residents and visitors alike.

New Public Restrooms: Town Beach Bath House

After the original Beach Bath House design was voted down at a Special Meeting of the Electors on July 9, 2018, the Town Board went back to the drawing board. At the Regular Town Board meeting on August 1, 2018 the Town Board decided to request new designs from SEH (the consulting firm that created the original bath house design) and Door County architect Rick Toyne of Sturgeon Bay.

These new designs were presented to the Town Board at a Special Town Board Meeting on August 27, 2018, at which the Board voted to move forward with Rick Toyne's designs. On September 25, 2018, the Town Board selected the bath house design to be presented and put to a vote at a Special Meeting of Electors set for October 17, 2018 at 7 pm at the Gibraltar High School gymnasium. Details of the meeting as well as the design will be made available prior to the meeting both online and via a mailer to boxholders.
