Landon Shorts, Men's Volleyball
Shorts earns his fifth conference weekly award of the season. Shorts led the No. 3 Mustangs to a pair of conference wins to lock up the No. 2 spot in the upcoming conference championship. The senior recorded 23 kills while hitting .500 and added seven aces, eight digs, two blocks and two digs. In a 3-0 sweep of Alvernia, Shorts recorded 11 kills while hitting .526 with four aces, three digs and two blocks. In a 3-0 sweep of Eastern, the senior recorded 12 kills while hitting .478 with two assists, three aces and five digs.
Tyler Graham, Baseball
Graham picked a big conference win for the Mustangs in a 5-1 win over conference-leading Arcadia. Graham pitched four innings to earn the win. The junior did not allow a walk or and earned run, while scattering three hits and striking out one batter. He held the Knights to a .188 batting average.
Dom DeFazio, Men's Lacrosse
DeFazio led the Mustangs to a 14-8 win over No. 18 Christopher Newport by anchoring the defense with four caused turnovers and six ground balls. The senior then recorded two caused turnovers and two ground balls in a conference win over Lycoming.
Ray McDermott, Men's Tennis
McDermott repeats as conference player of the week for his third of the season. McDermott did not drop a set in a 9-0 team win over Lycoming. At No. 1 singles, he won his match 6-0, 6-0. He teamed with Drew Ryan for an 8-0 win at No. 1 doubles. McDermott also won No. 1 singles against McDaniel, 6-4, 6-3 after winning 8-1 in doubles.
Dereck Davis, Men's Track and Field
Davis ran the top time in the MAC and eighth fastest time in Division III in the 100-meter dash at the Towson Invitational. Davis clocked in at 10.68 seconds to finish fourth overall and first among Division III sprinters. Davis also took sixth (third among Division III) in the 200-meter dash with a time of 22.28 seconds to give him two of the top-three times in the MAC this season.
Jess Rega, Women's Track and Field
Rega earned four top-eight finishes, including a first-place finish in the shot put at the Oscar Moore Invitational. Rega won the shot put with a mark of 12.45 meters. The senior also took fifth in both the hammer throw (42.78 meters) and the Javelin (27.25 meters), and eighth in the discus throw (30.96 meters).
