Founded in 1965 by Martine Colette, Wildlife Waystation is a 501(c)3 national nonprofit sanctuary dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, relocation and problem-solving of native, wild, and exotic animals.

With 160-acres of the Los Angeles National Forest to call home, Wildlife Waystation has helped more than 76,000 abused, abandoned, orphaned, and injured wild and exotic animals.

Today, the non-profit operates the largest Chimpanzee sanctuary in the Western United States with almost all of the chimps taken in from biomedical research labs.

The Wildlife Waystation provides 24-hour care to more than 400 permanent animal residents many of whom include big cats, wolves, coyotes, camels, primates, hyenas, bears, reptiles, exotic birds, and more.

The Health Center and full-time veterinary staff ensures that the care for each resident is based on the individual animal’s requirements. Preventative care, treatment for infections, diseases, including cancer, and geriatric care are all part of the hands-on attention each animal receives.

Wildlife Waystation has always been connected to Hollywood, but it has yet to develop a relationship with LA's millennial techies and creatives.

To spark this change, MiLLENNiAL and IVY are hosting a brunch to connect a select group of influential young professionals with Wildlife Waystation in hope of igniting a new volunteer and donor base.

In order to maintain the wellbeing of the animals and preserve the services of Wildlife Waystation, it is imperative this aspirational generation get involved and support the mission of the organization.

A Q/A with celebrity activists along with organizational leaders will set the tone and bring awareness to the state of animal protection and offer solutions for conscious consumption.

Music will keep the party atmosphere alive while enrichment activities and workshops are held. A silent auction with coveted products, services, and experiences will be available for bids to help raise additional funds for Wildlife Waystation.
