Coverletter - Customer Experience Team manager - Manila Service Center

Dear Riikka,

With this letter I would like to apply for the Customer Experience Team Manager function Manila Service Center.

During the two years at Management Events, I got several opportunities to develop myself as a project manager and in Matrix. Although I am still enjoying and learning every day in my current role, I am ready for a new challenge.

Within the last year I have been coach and part of the mobile service development team in Matrix. These different roles gave me the opportunity to learn more about the strategic focus of ME and how to communicate the change to our people. I have learned to coach, activate, inspire and communicate to people remotely.

I can imagine that the biggest challenge of this function is to manage the team remotely with the different (work) culture. With my Asian background I have the knowledge of the Philippines/Asian work culture and understand how to communicate with them. Besides that our system provides us all the tools to monitor the work of the team what makes managing remotely a lot easier. I am convinced that I can be of added value for the company as Customer Experience team manager of the Manila Service Center team.

Something else I learned in the past years, is to cooperate easily with Sales and CEM from different markets. I have no experience in the Customer Experience Manger’s role, but as a Project Manager I am always creating the best service to the partners of my own events together with the responsible CEM. Other people describe me as loyal, optimistic, efficient and a real people person. Within Matrix I have learned to find the right balance between efficiency, ensuring quality of the products and (remote) people coaching. I am convinced that these experiences will help me in the team manager role.

What I really like about this function is to be part of the strategic growth of the company. The Service center in Manilla is a big investment of Management Events and I would like to be part of this growth and help to create extra value for our customers by bringing great customer experience! Beside that I want to grow my knowledge in the company by cooperate even more with the local CEM teams. I am ensure that it would valuable if there will be more cooperation between Delops Matrix and CEM to improve the process efficiently.

What I like about the team manager’s role is to coach each team player to become a real ME ambassador and a by the book client service specialist! I am convinced that I am the right person to motivate and challenge this team!
