Representing Data Binary

What is Binary and what is it used for?

All data on computers is stored using binary, everything from your favourite games to the films you watch. Binary consists of only 2 digits, 1 (on) and 0 (off) an each one is a bit, a unit of binary to store data.

Why do computers use binary?

Computers use binary because their circuits are either on or off so using binary makes it easier as there are two states ( 1 and 0) to work from to make calculations and run the processes that a computer needs.

How do you convert denary into 4 bit binary values ?

How Do you convert denary into 8 bit binary values ?
