How to share your EPortfolio with a professor and course A GUIDE FOR STUDENTS

Who is this for? Who is this for? This guide is for any student who wants to share an ePortfolio with an existing faculty member and/or other students in a course.

Step 1: Select the ePortfolio you want to share.

In your Digication dashboard, click on the ePortfolio you want to share.

Step 2: Go to the settings page.

Then, locate the settings of your ePortfolio on the far right top corner as you see in the image above.

Step 3: Go to the sharing permissions settings

In the “Permissions & Share” section, add the CUNYfirst code of the course you want to share this ePortfolio with. Once the course pops up on the list, click on it.

Step 4: Check the permissions.

Once you enter the CUNYfirst code, the course will show up listing both the students and the faculty enrolled. Remember to set the permission to “Viewer” (as you see on the far right) unless your professor has explicitly indicated otherwise.

Step 5: Save everything.

Be sure to click on the “Save Settings” button.

Bonus: Check that your ePortfolio has been properly shared.

You can check that you've successfully shared your ePortfolio by going to the “ePortfolios” tab and see that it is listed there.

That's it. If you have any questions, contact the ePortfolio team or visit the MB-57 office.
