Parents need to aware of the harmful content in video games. The excessive violence in certain video games can mentally harm a child. There are exceptions to this such as video games being designed for younger audiences.

People of all ages love to play video games. Video game production and play has increased gradually over time. This increase has benefits and consequences such as families coming together to play with one another and younger children being negatively, mentally influenced.
Excessive game play can negatively effect grades and relationships. Video games are addictive. No one is exempt from this. All who play video games are affected in some fashion.
Parents must be aware of the content in the video games that their children are currently playing and in which video games are safe for their children to play.
