This is one of the more abstract pictures I've ever done and it's not supposed to make sense. (Unless you want it to)
This has a number of influences that I considered while making it. The Lizards and the name of the piece itself is modeled after the famous painting "The Creation of Adam". The background was heavily influenced by Bill Waterson's adaptation of his own Calvin and Hobbes, that being Spaceman Spiff. Those comics generally show rocky mesas with skies of stars, planets, and nebulas.
It's a large piece made with pigment ink pens and chalk pastels.
