The Finance platform has incorporated Human-Centered Design (HCD) in products ideation and development. The Barter and Value Capture products are excellent models of using workshops to bring Business and IT together to understand not only the process and workflow but to bring focus on the users and their emotion and feeling when interacting with Human, Computer systems, and Process. With empathic design thinking, the product team collaborate better to build innovative solution to solve the right problems, result in providing better user experience and greater customer satisfaction.

Value Capture Workshop

The Value Capture Workshop was a high-energy, knowledge-sharing, team-forming, project-defining, consensus-building week in Buenos Aires. Human Centered Design was introduced formally through Journey Mapping work and Persona Descriptions. It was also infused in the many small group exercises, mission statement, and many side-conversations. Follow-up sessions were provided to inform all members about the usability testing goals and techniques. Ongoing collaboration on prototypes, design details, global usability design, usability testing preparations are all showing great signs of teamwork and appreciation for the user experience.
