Men's Basketball #CAAChamps First Round Delaware and James madison advance to quarterfinal action

GAME 1: No. 8 Hofstra vs No.9 Delaware

CAA Rookie of the Year Ryan Daly scored a game-high 27 points and grabbed 11 boards to help ninth-seeded Delaware beat eighth-seeded Hofstra, 81-76

Hofstra shot 56 percent as a team in the first half and entered the break ahead, 47-39. UD quickly trimmed that deficit to one, thanks in part to shooting 9-of-11 from the field to open the half.

GAME 2: No. 7 James Madison vs No.10 Drexel

The Dragons stifled the Dukes early, holding Madison to just two points for the first eight-plus minutes of the game.

The Dukes come alive in 2nd half

The Dukes (10-22) shot 62.1% in the final 20 minutes with Kent finishing 8-of-12 from the floor.

Senior Jackson Kent netted 16 of his game-high 20 points in the second half to pace five Dukes in double-figures, as seventh-seeded James Madison earned a hard-fought, 80-70 win over 10th-seeded Drexel
