Edward August Photography has been teaching photography classes in California, New York, Missouri and Illinois for almost a decade now. In 2018 those classes will take place in Chico, Ca for the foreseeable future. The goal of these photo classes is to make you more familiar with your DSLR or point and shoot camera. We want you to be able to concentrate on what you are photographing instead of how to photograph it. We offer two hour class sessions with multiple class options to get you moving in the right direction.
We will discuss topics such as focusing options, the different modes of your camera, when and how to use your flash, posing techniques and much much more.
Classes are kept small so that no one gets lost in the crowd and questions are encouraged so that the topics are understood by all. You are provided with notes from the class that help you keep track of what was discussed during the class.
There are classes that have been created specifically for certain manufacturers such as Canon and Nikon so that you get information tailored to the very camera you own. This helps in the learning process as it prevents topics from being overly general. Throughout the class the options on the camera will be pointed out as to where they are on the camera in hopes that you will begin to use those options to see how they affect your photos. It also helps you become familiar with where the features of your camera are as well as how to adjust them.

When purchasing a ticket through EdwardAugustPhoto.com all you need to do is buy the ticket. You are actually purchasing a download of an image of the ticket but you do not need that image/download to attend the class. We will see that you have purchased the ticket and you will automatically be added to the class. You can also pay at the door via cash, check, credit card, PayPal or Venmo.
