Now let's go here...

Private Retreat

"Private Retreat" by Ford Smith Original painting (24"x36"). $6200 framed and ready to exhibit

Wandering toward the beach... warm sand between your toes,

birds calling in the distance, leaves fluttering in a warm breeze and the soft crash of waves; you stumble upon this magical scene and know you’ve found your own, personal paradise.

now let's go far, far away...

introducing Hue•Manity

"Hue•Manity" by Ford Smith Original painting (30"x40") $9000 framed and ready to exhibit

With a riotous patchwork of precision, Ford re-imagines nature with an other-worldly and mathematical edge.

Engaging a color spectrum of light traveling through a prism, he creates a sentry of 3-dimensional trees against a tumultuous, gray and bluesy sky jolted by racing light and shadows as the sun sets on distant mountains. The sharp geometry of the reflections and soft, randomness of the upper horizon makes this original painting a brilliant study in contrasts that merge together in vibrant perfection.

Fun Fact: Ford started college in 1968 with a full-ride scholarship in Mathematics, but switched his major to Fine Art after his freshman year and graduated with a BFA in Painting. You can identify these right brain/left brain capabilities in nearly every Ford Smith painting. The prized Hue Series is the most literal example of this.
Hue•manity up close and personal...

We have a big announcement!

Here goes...!

Eddie Freeland has his own series of glass paintings

Introducing sailing-inspired multimedia originals ...with a cool and defined 70's vibe

From the original concept to glass sculpting, they're rising art star, Eddie Freeland, through and through!

"Just as certain songs from our youth have the ability to soothe and infuse us with favorite memories during challenging times, these rekindled thoughts can guide the mind to calm and carefree days in troubled eras. That perfect and nostalgic moment of time can fracture uncertainty and dissolve fear. In my work, I seek to create visual motion using a palette of 70's-inspired colors to groove along the waters, riding along the glass, and inspiring fond reflections of simpler times. An era defined by music lyrics that take you along for the ride, humming as you go."

Now let's view the new "In Concert" multimedia original paintings by Ford Smith and Eddie Freeland.

Glass Art “In Concert” with Ford Smith and Eddie Freeland

In this artistic collaboration, Eddie Freeland starts with a fine art giclee of a Ford Smith painting and sculpts recycled glass atop the canvas and adheres it with a fine pool of resin. Then he repaints the top of the glass in acrylic paints. The dynamic and light-catching effect is as though the elements of a Ford Smith painting are floating from the canvas.
