Long before he became an actor, ROUKIN was on the decks. In 1994, in a garage in Southport, England, he learned the old-fashioned way – on Technics 1200’s. He was hooked by the early sounds of warehouse parties brought home by older brothers and his own weekly visits to Cream in Liverpool and many other UK clubs throughout the 90s. In the early 2000’s he played in venues up and down the UK including his own party, Fluid at The Room in Hull. Roukin's encyclopaedic knowledge of House Music and connection to the emotion of the dance floor, equips hims to ride the wave of any party. He now pushes a sound laced with punchy, groove driven Tech House and a gentle lean towards Techno.

This year alone, has seen ROUKIN play up and down the East Coast of America including Flash, Mischief, Gallery 5, Kabana Rooftop and headlining the VA Pride opening party. In 2017, he began his new venture VOLTAGE – The Pop-up Nightclub – a platform for local DJ talent wherever it pops up – and smashed the first two parties.

As a producer, he is currently in his Los Angeles studio finishing up his first single, a vocal driven Tech House track entitled ‘Twisted' featuring NiTasha Jackson and a remix of Leisure Principle’s ‘By A Thread’.

'Roukin brings his experience as a showman to the dance floor. He’s the real deal. Not just a crossover DJ trying to take advantage of his fame, but a DJ extending his fame through music.' (AFSHIN - PROMOTER | FLASH DC)

'Roukin is a beast for the dance floor - his charisma is magnetic in the booth and his sets capture the sound of now without cloning the same old track list.' (MONT LA MONT -DJ/PRODUCER)

'Roukin always rocks the dance floor right and reads the crowd perfectly. Any night he's on the decks, you just know it's gonna smash!' (RAPTORSTEIN - PROMOTER | MISCHIEF)

'We all know Roukin is a talented performer. Working with him you can quickly see his passion and drive. One of the most important ways that Roukin’s talent shows as musical selector is his connection to people and the music. It’s contagious, it grabs people and you go on a journey with him. I took my wife to go see him play in DC, and it became one of the most fun times we had together dancing. Sexy, exciting, and fun with new sounds I'd not heard. Everyone was smiling, and very in synch with our selector. This is just one of the things that sets him apart from other DJs.' (REINHOLD - DJ/ PRODUCER)
