Five Cruise Ships in Nassau, Bahamas STORY AND PHOTOGRAPHY BY ROBERT NEFF

Dec 24, 2016. Three cruise lines, Norwegian, Royal Caribbean and Carnival were in the Port of Nassau the day before Christmas. That is around 15,000 passengers, not including crew, and the locals who come to sell goods and the workers.

Cover Photo: From left to right are Royal Caribbean's Allure of the Seas, Carnival Ecstasy, Norwegian Sky, Carnival Victory, and Carnival Elation.

I was on the Norwegian Sky. Great ship! Great Crew! Great experience!

Freestyle dining offers many options. No matter where you ate, the food was excellent! More importantly, you were not packed into the dining room.

Fort Charlotte offers a different perspective than Fort Fincastle. The casino was setting up for a big concert.

Pilot boat was busy!

Exploring the views from the terminal's docks.

Selfies now span all generations!

Leaving the terminal.

The Allure of the Seas is leaving. This was the only cruise ship that pulled into the dock with the bow forward. Here is it backing out of the dock.

Returning to the Norwegian Sky.
