The Cloud & Internet Security By Drew Shaffer

The Cloud was created by Joseph Carl Robnett Licklider in the 1960's with his work with ARPANET. Cloud storage is based on highly visualized infrastructure and is like broader cloud computing in terms of accessible interfaces, near-instant elasticity and scalability, multi-tenancy, and metered resources.

The cloud wasn't first used until August 9, 2006 and came from a bunch of companies combining to help make the cloud.

It's so important because if we didn't have it today we wouldn't have all the websites like google and amazon.

Amazon start with the idea of how to make the cloud in South Africa in the late 2003.

Nearly one-half of US Government agencies use the cloud.
