Normally a teenager in Algeria would go to school. Students are primarily taught in Arabic. Sometimes kids can be homeschooled too. If people have free time they would go hiking, mountain climbing, swimming, tennis, golf, horseback riding and riding on camels. People would tend to listen to folk music. They would wear a mix of traditional and European clothing. Traditionally the men will wear white woolen cloaks, called the gandoura, over a cotton shirt. Sometimes they also wear linen or wool burnous over the shoulders. Women are draped head to foot in the haik, worn over loose pants that gather at the ankle.

The best time to visit Algeria is April through October because that's when the temperature is just right. Summer temperatures are high through out the country but at night the temperature can drop. You would probably need some required clothing like cotton and linen lightweights which are best for winter months. It is also required that you will need a mountain sleeping bag If you are going to camp.
