North Central Missouri College Pirates Baseball is a NJCAA Division II program located in Trenton, MO. The rural setting of the program allows players to focus on the game they love and get a great academic start to their collegiate career. "Books and Baseball" is a common reference of Coach Hillerman.

These players are leaders in our program. They set the tone daily in all team activities and teach all newcomers what it means to truly be a Pirate.
The program's focus is on player development which leads to on-field success. The coaching staff prides themselves on seeing players improve during their two years at NCMC. The hard work and desire of the athletes allows for this kind of improvement when combined with the training environment put in place by the coaching staff. Additionally, the 56-game spring season plus 14-game date fall lets players get the on-field experience crucial for development.

Coach Hillerman’s enters his 18th year at the helm of the Pirates baseball team. Prior to NCMC, Hillerman was the head baseball coach at St. Louis Community College - Florissant Valley.

Ryan Suttenfield
Associate Head Coach
Coach Suttenfield enters his 13th year with the Pirates Baseball team. Prior to joining the NCMC, Suttenfield had success as a coach for the St. Louis Gamers club organization and at the high school ranks for New Bloomfield High School. While at New Bloomfield for 4 years, the team won 3 district championships and a state title in his final season.
Additionally, Suttenfield was the head coach of the Lemay Governors in the Lewis and Clark Baseball League during the summers from 2014-16. For those 3 summers, the team compiled a 74-29 record and played for the Discovery Cup championship each year, winning the title in the summer of 2015.
Suttenfield played collegiately at Cornell College for four years. During that time, he pitched primarily out of the bullpen and ranks 3rd in single season saves for his efforts as a senior in 2007. Suttenfield graduated from Cornell with a double major in Sports Management and Economics & Business. Suttenfield has also graduated from American Public University with a Master of Science in Sports Management with Honors in 2016.
Coach Suttenfield is married to Kimberly Suttenfield and has one son, Barrett.
