Alexander the Great Savannah boyce

Alexander the Great accomplished so much in his short lifetime. There is much debate over how great he really was. He ruled Macedonia from only 336 B.C. to 323 B.C. He is really known for being great because of how much he accomplished. He not only conquered Persia but also united all of Greece and created an empire that was roughly 5.4 million km.

Alexander's father died in 336 B.C. and he became king at a very young age. It was not long until he set out to build his empire. By the age of 26 he had conquered the Persian empire. Alexander died before the age of thirty-three of Malaria in Babylon.

Alexander is though to have been a great man. He is thought to have been intelligent, courageous, and a great leader.
