Plastic is a resource many people use on a daily basis. Some examples are you drink from plastic bottles/glasses , some people eat form plastic plates and many children play with plastic toys.

Blue hat- the process is first a liquid (polymer pellets and oil)is then gone through a process and is heated and cooled and is made into solid(plastic).

White hat- Plastic is made by oil.

Different sized pumpjacks can produce between 5& 40 litres.

Some oil pipes can be 1000s of miles long.

Oil spills result in both immediate and long term.

The oil is processed into different types fules and chemicals.

In the US , 93% of plastic is not recycled and ends up in the landfills instead of that plastic can be recycled and can make new plastic.

Procedure of How plastic is made!

Goal : to successfully make plastic.

Materials required:oil , polymer pellets , machines.

Procedure :

1) First ,extract oil from underground with the help of a pipejack.

2) Second,with the help of an oil pipe transport it to an oil refinery.

3)Then,in the refinery the machines add polymer pellets and mix them with the oil.

4)After that, the oil solution is further processed into a factory furnace and is heated a lot.

5) Next, the machines put it in a mood and cool it.

6) Finally, after a while once it is cooled properly the mold titlts and out comes your plastic toy/material.
