Over the top St. Patrick's day cake by cate casparius '19

Celebrate St. Patrick's Day with this decadent, three tier, vanilla, green ombre cake covered in white buttercream frosting with green, white chocolate ganache drip topped with “gold coins" (mint oreos).

You will need:

Cake Ingredients: 1 box of white cake mix (+ ingredients listed on box) and green food coloring.

Frosting ingredients: 2 cups of butter, 3 cups of confectioners sugar (sifted), 2 tsp vanilla extract.

Drip Ingredients: 3 ounces heavy cream, 4 ounces white chocolate and food coloring (green).

Extra decorating ingredients: 1 cup of mint oreos (crushed up), 5 mint oreos (whole), and 1 bottle of Wilton gold food coloring spray.
