I am 19 years old and I am in my sophomore here at ETSU and I am striving to graduate from this university with a degree in Mass Communications with a minor in Advertising. I am from a small town in West Tennessee which has more cows than people and being from a small town it was a cultural shock coming to ETSU. God helped me spread my wings and it has been a great experience thus far and I with him college is going to be a great experience.
A small town in West Tennessee with a population of 834. I will always call Decaturville my home because I made relationships that will never be broken also my home church will always be my church because they helped me become the man I am today and without the support of my community I do not know where I would be.
I chose ETSU because I wanted to venture away from home to form relationships with new students and professors, engage in clubs, and fulfill my plan to God who helped me overcome fears at ETSU and he has helped me become the man I am today. The greatest thing that has happened thus far is that I am a founding father of the ETSU BYX chapter which is a Christian fraternity and it has blessed me with a brotherhood that will last a lifetime. I know without my brothers I do not know where I would be in life, and with that I love God for blessing me a family that I can count on.
The hobby that I love doing is hiking and being outdoors. I love hiking in the mountains and seeing how beautiful nature is and with that I love being in the hill of East Tennessee.
My career goal is to be a sports anchor for ESPN covering college football. I know with that is going to take hard work and I am not going to let that stop me from chasing my dream because you can do anything if you put your mind to it. Do not ever give up on dreams no matter how old you are.
