PJ Launches Nutrition Program for Employees

PJ recently launched a new nutrition program in partnership with Tami Schiltz of Innovative Nutrition and Wellness Solutions. This new program will offer one-on-one nutrition coaching that is partially funded by PJ to all employees. In addition to the one-on-one coaching, PJ will offer employees nutrition workshops and lunch and learn events at no cost to employees.

Tami Schiltz, Innovative Nutrition and Wellness Solutions
“A lot of companies talk about taking care of their employees and do their best, but Palmer Johnson is raising the bar and setting a new standard! Having the option to sit in on a Nutrition Lunch & Learn and take away a few useful "bites," is definitely a step in a healthier direction. To have the opportunity to get personalized one-on-one nutrition counseling that is supported by your company, however, is truly a unique experience!”

NEW UNIT QUALITY WITHOUT THE HIGH PRICE

With cost of new and used machines rising, availability limited, many in the construction and rental industries are looking to get longer life out of their fleet. At Palmer Johnson Power Systems, we have the skilled resources and capacity to Re-New or Re-Fresh your machines. Our Service Dealer and Distributor status with OEM’s and Product OE’s enables us to perform all repairs/rebuilds of any component on the machine in house, cutting costs and saving time.

In 2005, Palmer Johnson Power Systems established the PJ Scholarship Fund in an effort to encourage higher education. Palmer Johnson has awarded more than $100,000 in scholarship funds to the children and grandchildren of Palmer Johnson employees who are pursuing a post-high school degree program at an accredited college or university.

Pettibone Training

We’ve been supporting Pettibone, a fellow midwestern organization, for years; parts, remanufactured powertrain components, tech support and now equipment service and sales.

Recently our Seattle and Los Angeles Service centers became authorized service locations for Pettibone equipment.

Pettibone hosted sales and service training specifically for Palmer Johnson at their production facility. Our techs gained certification to repair any failed part on the entire machine; Traverse and Cary-Lifts. Our sales team is now well versed in providing demos and quoting new machines. It was a fantastic week, and we were very impressed with the warm welcome and hands-on training we received.

Starting on October 22nd, 2018 the employees of Palmer Johnson will join forces to virtually tour 3,983 miles over the span of 10 days!

PJ believes that we are only as strong as those around us and feels a responsibility to provide back to the community that we call home. Each year PJ strives to make each community we are in a little better, and the funds raised during le Tour de PJ will go directly into the Sun Prairie, WI community via Boys and Girls Club programming. For the last few years PJ has partnered with the Boys & Girls Club of Dane County and we are proud to continue our support with le Tour de PJ. Our goal is to raise $40,000 through this virtual tour.

PJ has pledged to donate for every “mile” that is logged by a PJ employee, or spouse, from October 22nd to October 31st (Halloween). There are multiple ways to log “miles” during this virtual tour, and it will require all PJ employees to work as a team to log the 3,983 miles. This virtual tour encourages employees to get moving and stay active, which is part of a healthy lifestyle, no matter how they choose to exercise.

Throughout the 10 day tour, PJ employees can also earn extra “miles” by wearing Halloween costumes while they workout. Follow Palmer Johnson on Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn to stay updated throughout this virtual tour!
