Disgusting The Unpleasantness of Touchscreens

We love our phone, tablets, and touchscreen computers.

We don't love fingerprints on our screens. You might not notice them when your device is turned on. But when the screen is off, you really do see them.

Microfiber cloths work well to wipe away prints.

You can find them in retail stores. My favorite brand is Zwipes.

Microfiber clothes do not sanitize the screen.

Germs love touchscreens.

Dr. Cain of the American Academy of Family Physicians says, "People are just as likely to get sick from their phones as from handles of the bathroom. "

Bacteria can cause colds, pinkeye, and diarrhea.

Alcohol and cleaning chemicals can damage the coating on a touchscreen.

Ultraviolet sanitizing lights can kill bacteria without harming your touchscreen.

It's a good idea to wash your hands often.

Because we love our touchscreens, but we also love to be healthy.
