Healthy foods are something that are required in order to live a healthy life even though you might not like the tastes of them without them you may become over weight or malnourished. so i'm going to first explain to you what can happen to you if you don't eat healthy foods and also if you eat a good amount.
An unhealthy diet is a major risk factor for becoming overweight or obese. Obesity is a major risk factor for many chronic diseases, including cancer, cardiovascular disease, hypertension and Type 2 diabetes. An unhealthy diet can also negatively affect mental health, as noted by a study published in 2013 in the journal "Social Psychiatry and Psychiatric Epidemiology." According to the article, there is an association between unhealthy diets and mental health problems, including depression, in adolescents. These things are just the beginning as it is also shown. foods high in sodium cause water retention, which can raise blood pressure. High blood pressure puts more pressure on the heart, which increases the likelihood of heart attack, stroke and coronary artery disease. Foods containing high amounts of saturated fat raise LDL cholesterol, which is considered bad cholesterol. They also lower HDL cholesterol, which is considered good cholesterol. This can lead to heart disease. Tooth decay results from eating foods containing excessive amounts of sugar or starch.
A healthy diet is shown to have many positive health affects. One 2012 study published by Population Health Management found that eating an unhealthy diet puts you at a 66% increased risk of productivity loss. Another study in the Journal of Occupational and Environmental Medicine found that an unhealthy diet represented the highest risk for low productivity out of 19 possible risk factors, including lack of exercise, chronic pain and financial instability. if you eat a healthy diet you have a much higher chance of not getting these things.
One Example of a healthy diet to start off with would be one that includes the following. Emphasizes vegetables, fruits, whole grains, and fat-free or low-fat dairy products. Includes lean meats, poultry, fish, beans, eggs, and nuts. Limits saturated and trans fats, sodium, and added sugars. Controls portion sizes. if you do this it will let you live a healthy balanced life
