The Night Tourist Katherine Marsh

In the book, the overall location is in the Grand Central Terminal, in New York. As a reader, I imagine it to be like a subway, that slightly reminds me of a museum. I feel that if I were to be in the book right now, I would think that the Grand Central Terminal is a very mysterious place.

The locations in the book are in the the Grand Central Terminal, and they make Jack question New York. One of the locations was the Whispering Gallery, a wall where you can hear people whispering. Another place is the hospital that Jack got taken to when he got into a car crash.

The novel takes place in winter. So far, this book makes me feel apprehensive because I don't want anything else to go wrong for Jack.

The weather would probably be very cold, considering that it is Christmas time for Jack at the moment. In this environment, there are buildings and hospitals. This environment makes me feel like Jack must be in a very damp environment.

In the book, it is not very crowded, but it is not empty either. There are tourists in the Grand Central Terminal, but it doesn't seem to be that much. It seems to be a very calm group of tourists there. It makes me feel that since there are tourists there, the Grand Central Terminal is a popular place to go if you we visiting New York.

This book makes me feel relieved and the book is full of adventure and mystery. The times where Jack was in the Whispering Gallery and exploring the Grand Central Terminal were some examples in the book which lead me to thinking it was a mystery/adventure book.

So far, in the book, the setting affects the story by leading to what might happen later on the book, due to all of the mysterious locations. The different settings give me ideas to where Jack might go later on in the book or what he might do in the future.
