Fall 2016 was certainly a busy semester at the Career Development Center. We are thankful for all the students, employer/school partners, and campus constituents who helped us make all these events possible.
Part-time Job Fair 8.31.16
We kicked off the Fall 2016 semester with the Part-time Job Fair. This event featured employers who were specifically looking to hire students for part-time employment opportunities.
Career Crawl 9.14.16
Over 70% of students strongly agreed that the Career Crawl helped increase their confidence in making academic and career choices.
We hosted our first ever Career Crawl event including 8 employers from the fields of healthcare, public safety, education, and social behavioral sciences who shared information and advice about their career paths with 74 student attendees.
Oviedo Transfer Fair 10.18.16
Our Transfer Fair hosted over 30 representatives from colleges/universities who visited the Oviedo Campus to talk to students about educational programs and transfer options.

The guests filled the Fine Arts Concert Hall.
Student's were offered the opportunity to take photos with the campus Deans.

Career Fair 2016 11.2.16
We ushered in November with one of our largest events of the year, the Career Fair. This event offered students the opportunity to connect with employers from a variety of industries who were hiring for full-time jobs, part-time jobs, and internships.
College Tours 11.14.16
Finally, we offered our first-ever College Tours event. 34 students joined us for a free full-day tour of Rollins College and UCF. We expect to offer this event again in the spring and hope you will join us in visiting some of our local colleges/universities.
