When Texas gyms and sports facilities were closed to contain the spread of COVID-19, athletes and fitness buffs resorted to outdoor activities to maintain their active lifestyles. Parks exempted from closure became training grounds.

Richardson, Texas, 04/26/2020. COVID-19 has left the LA Fitness gym location in Richardson with an empty parking lot. The gym closed until further notice to comply with Dallas County's new ordinance.
