I HAD A DREAM
I dreamed we couldn’t leave the house. Outside there was a monster but not a monster with a lot of heads or a giant covered with hair. No. There was an invisible monster which it could be near or far of you and you didn’t know if it was there. It was very quiet. I could like go hunting it and without a doubt I took my phosphorescent light gun and I went out to looked for it. The streets were empty and very quiet and I ran from side to side looking for a monster and shooting my special gun up and down to find it. Every soot lighted up the streets and the buildings with phosphorescent colours trying to find the monster in each shoot but it didn’t appear.
After some hours running in the town I came back home very tired. I didn’t find anything, neither people nor the monster and finally I got comfortable in the couch and fell asleep. When I woke up in the morning I wasn’t in the couch, I was in my bed and thought that the monster was a dream, a nightmare. But when I’ve got up and have turned on the TV while I made breakfast, I’ve heard the notice:
Quarantine because the virus is extended for 15 days more. Oh! No! I didn’t remember I couldn’t leave the house yet!

The real nightmare
“Nine in the morning and I’m awake. I’m hungry. I’d like to eat something... Maybe a sandwich! ”- he said, while the sunlight filtered through the window. He went down the stairs and started to eat. It was a cloudy winter day.
He started to do housework when he exclaimed: “Oh! I’ve remembered that my parents are going abroad for a week. It’s perfect! I’m going to be alone all week!”- he said with a big smile.
“I've just decided that I’m going to relax on the sofa and watch the new season of Money Heist in Netflix” - he said very happily when he heard a noise on the first floor. He went up the stairs and saw a broken glass and suddenly her cat appeared. He exclaimed: “Fxxx”. He was scared, his heart was beating very fast. “Don’t do it again, Kitty”, he said angry.
When he was looking in his room... he saw that his closet was open... he was frozen, he couldn't believe what he was seeing. There was somebody inside the room! He saw a hooded man with a knife. He was scared and he couldn’t move.. The hooded man came out of the closet and ...
“OOHHH” It was a nightmare!- he said agitated. He got up immediately when he saw a knife with blood on his bed ... “¿Am I the hooded man?” - he thought with an empty gaze, her hands full of blood and his parents dead on the floor.

Once upon a time there was a beautiful and small village called Saint George where people had lived peacefully until the day which the monster appeared.
The monster was the smallest and cruelest being in the whole region, and apparently it wanted to be there for holidays. However, the monster used to disturb everyone making noise, kicking them and also making pain all the time.
The people were very upset and wanted the monster to go away from village, then they met with the King George and he advised them to stay at home for the rest of the month, consequently, the monster couldn’t make pain because the streets would be empty and anyone could bump into him.
At first, the people didn’t agree with the decision of the King, but as soon as the days passed all the village turned into silence, and people could saw how the monster walk alone with pain and disappointing and sooner he left the village without trail.
After a month, all the people went out to the streets and they started to cry, embracing themselves because they hadn’t seen each other until the monster disappeared.
At the end, an enormous rose grew in the middle of the main square of the village as a result of the battle against the monster and it symbolized the liberty of the town, when the rose died, the vaccine was appeared and all the villagers became happier and more together than ever.

once upon a time...
Once upon a time there was a world where the people would go for a walk through the forest with no worries and a big smile...where the friends had been seeing the waves of the sea from dawn until the sunset in a small bay ...
Once upon a time there was an earth where best mates went for a get-together and they would take some drinks and forget about their troubles...
Once upon a time where the middle of the planet could give a hug to the other half with all its heart just for exchange a simple and sincere smile...
Once upon a time where families could get together to enjoy each other’s warm and pleasant company and get cozy by the fireplace...
Once upon a time when the separated lovers could run excitedly as far as needed to see each other and give their beloved one a book or a rose with thorns...
Once upon a time where whole lands did not place value on these little big things...such as the rose’s spines that you would only feel when it hurt your finger while you were admiring its gorgeous and stunning magnificence...
Once upon a time where we did not appreciate the brightness of these special moments because the essential things were invisible to the eyes....
Once upon a time...

When he arrived at her grandmother’s home, he was very sad and Lisa, her grandmother’s neighbor, turned up in his home. Lisa was 9 years old. In this time a strong relation started between them. They grew up together and went to the same school.

He was working in a big company and moved to live in London and, on the other hand, she didn’t have a profession or studies and she started to work cleaning houses.
Suddenly, Thomas’s grandmother died and he came to Barcelona to bury his grandmother and fix the papers. In fact, Lisa also went to the funeral and sat next to Thomas. After the funeral, she apologized, because if she had followed Thomas’s advice, her life might have been better. Later they spent the rest of the day together, talking a lot of hours and then, the strong relationship they had before started again.
Some months later, Lisa was cleaning a house when Thomas turned up, he made her a business proposal to open a store of his company in Barcelona and he wanted Lisa to manage the store.

IT WAS RAINING
It was raining and Paul was walking home from school. When he was crossing the street by the pedestrian crossing, he was suddenly run over by a truck. He was able to stand up without any problem, he had been very lucky!
Afterwards, the driver got out of the truck and approached him with an expression of horror on his face.
- “It’s fine. I seem to be in one piece, luckily” Paul said.
The truck driver seemed unable to hear him. At this moment, Paul realized that his bloody body was still lying on the asphalt.
- “What is happening to me”? Paul wondered.
Paul noticed his pupils were enlarging when his grandmother surprisingly held out his hand. But it was incredible because his grandmother... had passed away some years ago!
“It’s too early for you, you still have many things to do, you must go back”, she said.
Paul was very confused and didn’t understand anything, but after his grandmother gave him a kiss, he woke up in the hospital.
His family and the doctor smiled when he woke up. “Keep calm, Paul, everything is fine”, the doctor said.Isabel Aranda, B1

NOW LET’S HEAR THE PRINCESS’S VERSION
There is no dragon to be killed or a princess to be saved in this story. I left the castle because I got tired of hearing “the princess has to be saved!!” like they were doing me a favor. I don’t need anybody else to kill the dragon because I am strong enough to do it myself. Moreover, that animal is cute, so, who knows... I can see him being my pet.

Value in time
Rainy Sunday, ready to go into that book. Value in time, it's called. The sound of the rain leads me to look out of the window. The planet finally breathes, the birds are singing, and we’re giving value to life again. What seemed to be small things are the biggest now. I look at the book again, Value in time is called. And I realize there’s no better reminder.
