Dietary Habits of Liberty University Students

Many college students skip meals and purchase unhealthy sources of energy to get by day to day.

Research has shown that students eat based on availability, accessibility, and convenience; students who frequent college cafeterias and fast food locations are more likely to be obese.

Residential students at Liberty University are currently required to choose one of two meal plans, both of which include the purchase of unlimited meal swipes at the Reber-Thomas Dining Hall.

According to a recent study, students who prepare meals in advance live healthier lifestyles.
Because not every college student prioritizes dietary health, Liberty University should experience minimal financial impact.
