Commentary 1: Shakespeare owned a company called Lord Chamberlain's Men. Lord Chamberlain was a very respected men, so this shows that shakespeare and his group were well supported by wealthy and or respected people.
Quote 2 "By 1592 Shakespeare had already become an actor"(Anderson 4)
Commentary 2: Shakespeare became an actor at age 28, which was an unexpected event. He managed to be an actor and a writer at this age, which was also the age when his kids were around 8 to 10 years young.
Quote 3: "The sharers were the company's leading actors as well as its stockholders" (Landers 4)
Commentary 3: Shakespeare was a stockholder and a sharer while he was an actor and writer.
Quote 1: "By 1592, Shakespeare had already become a playwright" (Anderson 4).
Commentary 1: Shakespeare became a playwright by age 28
Quote 2: "Shakespeare's plays are still produced all over the world" (Anderson 6).
Commentary 2: Shakespeare is still popular in today's modern world. His plays are being remade into movies and being played in theaters all over the world.
Quote 3: "In his play Henry V, Shakespeare called his theater a 'Wooden O'" (Anderson 4).
Commentary 3: Shakespeare called the theater "The Wooden O" in one of his plays. The theater may have been called the Wooden O before the play or maybe he just made the name up as a setting.
Quote 1: "Shakespeare’s sudden death at the age of 52. His plays continue to be performed, studied, and appropriated worldwide, and he is credited with introducing 300 words and dozens of well-known phrases into the English language". (Ravilious 3)
Commentary 1: Shakespeare died at age 52 and today his plays are still known world wide and over 300 phrases plays and quotes are still known by most people.
Quote 2: "In 1582 Shakespeare married Anne Hathaway, eight years his senior and pregnant at the time of the marriage. They had three children: Susanna, born in 1583, and twins, Hamnet and Judith, born in 1585". (Unknown 2)
Commentary 2: Shakespeare was married to 25 year old Anne Hathaway at the age of 18 and had 3 children at age 19 and 21.
Quote 3 'It is assumed that from around the age of five to seven, William Shakespeare went to a school where he would have learned to read. Stratford, in common with other English towns of a similar stature, had a grammar school, which was founded in around 1427' (baker 10)
Commentary 3: Attended grammar shool and was taught "classics" or latin grammmar and literature in 1427
